11:11

I’m not one to be superstitious. I do believe in my faith and in Jesus, however many of my friends are very superstitious within their lifestyles. It may work for them or not, but I’m always intrigued behind their stories and how they came about their experience. If you know me, I tend to play it unbiased and try my best not to judge others. For example, I’ve never witnessed a ghost, apparition or a spirit. I haven’t come across an event where there’s not a logical explanation behind it. In my 45yrs on this planet, I’ve heard a mouthful of crazy things people go through or observed. Now, I’m not one to say, ‘ghosts don’t exist’, or ‘They are full of it’. It could be true, it’s just that I’ve not come a crossed it. Or maybe I don’t notice enough and they’ve given up trying to gain my attention. Either way, I don’t mess around with that stuff and quick to take my skeptical flag down. I don’t demoralize that world. I simply tell myself they believe it, I don’t, and that’s okay. I don’t speak bad about it. I’m simply Switzerland. Perhaps I don’t want to upset the ghosts to where they start appearing in the middle of the night.

Recently I’ve been coming across 11:11 on the clocks at home, on my phone, in the car or in public. Not all the time, but enough to scratch my head pondering what the heck does this mean? In the beginning I brushed it off (again not superstitious). But figured let’s see what info I stumble upon here… After researching 11:11, a few things surfaced online. Things referring to: ‘Angel Numbers’ that guides to the correct path; New Beginnings; Awakenings of self-realizations; Intuitions and listening to your inner voice, etc. All this doesn’t come to me as a surprise. Figure this is exactly what the internet will expose me to. It reminded me of the time when I was into horoscopes. Each day I would read a passage telling me insights about how the day would pan out. Or what type of people I’d interact with… Can’t believe I went down that rabbit whole cause none of it was a reality. This was no different here with the 11:11 clock. I say this because when I googled 3:33 or 4:44 just to compare the data, guess what, it was similar. I mean with different words; however it all pointed to the same thing. It’s almost like you’re looking for something to rationalize how your life will be mapped out. So, I disregarded this quickly and if I continue to see this number in the future, I’ll remind myself to grab a snack or text/say something positive to a friend.

The only other crazy thing that happened to me (and probably due to watching many horror movies) is my contact with black birds. Two instances occurred… The first flew crashing into my living room window while on the telly. Caught me off-guard. Spooked a little but in the end, I felt bad for the poor fella. I searched the ground hoping to find it, but nothing. Assumed it probably got a brief concussion and flew away. Second, was literally the following day. I drove to the store and had my passenger window slightly down (about a few inches) when all a sudden I hear a thump. When I looked to my right, a few feathers fell onto the seat. Luckily, I caught a glimpse of what seemed to be the bird trying to get into my car. Seeing it had difficulty; the bird simply flew away within seconds. I wondered what the heck is going on. Is this some sort of bad omen? By the third day I anticipated another black bird would knock on my door. You should have seen me because I kept looking up at the sky like a tourist from another country. Would the bird try and bite my ear while walking around? Steal my food from the food-carts? Or worse, bring a flock to take me down to my death? To my surprise nothing happened. And since then, I haven’t had any weird incidents either. Thought about talking to a psychic about but threw that thought out quickly cause I’ve already been educated from the internet about this. If something else happens, I’ll follow up with another post. In the meantime, I’ll share with my close friends so they can get a laugh in and tease me about it lol.
