Spanish Service

Another great weekend with family. We got a lot done and were able to be productive together. Although we didn’t tackle everything on our list, we still managed to complete about 80% of it. Not only have I been blessed to spend this time with her, but patience has also knocked on my door pretty hard this time around. I say that with the best intentions, of course. But hey, my itinerary skills have definitely improved, lol. Don’t really get to spend much time with them, so I try to make the most of it. Have about one more week with them, and I’m hoping my sister and I can plan something memorable before her departure date.

Took my mother to a Spanish service since that is her native tongue. I knew that attending my normal service church, it wouldn’t allow her to fully take in and connect with the pastor’s message, so I wanted to make her feel a little closer to home. I introduced her to the main pastor, Ben, and they were able to exchange a few words.

Def need to remind myself not to make everything about me. I need to look out for others and consider how I can help them get the most out of their day. I know my mother did, and hope to continue growing in that kind of humility each day.
