Reflections
On my shift today, I’m not sure why but I went into reflective mode. During my drive, I kept pondering a few things that got me to slow down my thinking process a bit. Realized I had a few things I overlooked; or was missing the point during my journey. This included making excuses because I wanted to make a case for myself.
I started to think harder and see at what stage in life I guess this could have begun. Not sure, but I found this out like an epiphany. This revelation connected with other parts of my brain that people have told me in the past (friends, family, colleagues).
I’ve also realized some other current outlines that are connected from a past stage in my life. Notable ones to where it takes me to the early years of my life. I did the math on this in my head and because I’ve been studying my behavior patterns, it would make a little more sense as to why the actions I take, give me those results.
Willing to have this revelation. It's another opportunity to uncover my blind spots, take accountability, and become more intentional about who I am. I know there's still more to uncover, but I'm embracing the process.
