Mentor
Today was an eye-opener from a work-life perspective.
We celebrated three talented employees whose contributions helped shape the company into what it is today. As they reflected on their journeys, there was a shared atmosphere of gratitude, resilience, and appreciation for the support of family and colleagues along the way. Tears were shed—and I’ll admit, I was among those moved by the moment.
These three men were pillars of the company. They not only helped guide it through difficult times, but also ensured that every employee was treated with respect and valued for their contributions. I know this firsthand.
One of them took the time to coach and mentor me during a period when I was struggling to stay afloat, both professionally and personally. He reminded me of the core values that define who we are and helped me find the strength to pick myself up, move forward, and persevere.
Today, I gave him a huge hug as we honored his retirement. It was a small gesture compared to the impact he had on my life and career.
I won’t forget that guy.
