Stepping Out

Let’s bring it back a bit, yes…

A USPS van with no headlights on, was idling behind me at a traffic light. Thoughts came in (WTF)… Yielding and anticipating the green coming on quickly, I grabbed the gear shift, put it in PARK, took my foot off the break, unbuckled my seatbelt, opened the door (with a bit of a kick) and stood on the street waving with both hands YOOOOO!!!!!!! (dude!!!)

Flashing my fingers indicating to turn on your lights before causing an accident…The driver initially looked at me crazy. But understood where I was coming from.

I’ll admit, standing on the road stopping traffic, gave me a bit of authority-not gonna lie.
