Live and Feel

The fear of staying the same becomes greater than the fear of failing. We could have stayed home, wrapped in the familiar, where nothing was asked of us and nothing could shake us. Instead, we stepped forward. We chose the uncertainty, the discomfort, the heat of the metaphorical fire—and let it change us. Because sometimes confidence isn’t something we find; it’s something we forge. And sometimes, the only way to begin a new chapter is to close the old one.

Remember how instinctively we look at life through a lens of scarcity—how we try to avoid, avoid, avoid. But if, even for a moment, we find strength to step back from that fear and ask instead, What is there to be gained?—the landscape begins to change. We may see that the greater danger was never in going, but allowing fear to convince us not to go at all.

We all hit a point where we look back on the roads we traveled behind us—winding paths, wrong turns, quiet victories, footsteps that, one by one, have become the story of our lives. And in that moment, we hope the journey feels full.

Step onto the stage of your life, stand your ground as the curtains slowly open and the light finds you. Look out at the foreign audience. The world is waiting to hear what only you can say.

Let your voice tremble. Speak anyway.

Because if we do, we give ourselves permission to truly live and feel.
