Walking

Be your biggest fan, because no one will believe in you unless you first initiate it within. It all starts with trusting yourself to navigate the process and arrive where you need to be. But that trust also requires you to be your own biggest critic.

When you’re feeling lost, defeated, or frustrated, stop and inquire: What do I want? Is what I’m doing today actually moving me toward it?

Those questions give you permission to take a sledgehammer to the things that no longer belong—thus refining the process. Walking away from the things that no longer align with who you want to become isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom. The power lies in recognizing that your choices, your actions, and the footsteps taken each day are shaping your future.

Not every path you start down is meant to be finished. Some things must be broken. Some must be released. And some must be left behind so you can make room for what’s next.

There is wisdom in knowing when to stop walking in a direction that no longer serves you—and even greater power in turning your feet toward the person you’re becoming.

Your future isn’t waiting for you somewhere down the road.

It’s built with every step you take today.
